Jennens Road Hot-Desk and Meeting Rooms Booking Availability

This hot-desk booking system supports:

  • Booking requests by Research Office colleagues for staff hot-desks in Jennens Road rooms CJR101 and CJR103
  • Booking requests by PGR students for student hot-desks in the Jennens Road Research Hub, room CJR003.
  • Booking requests for meeting room, seminar room and viva room in Jennens Road Research Hub. Note that these booking requests are mediated requests and will need to be approved by DRC staff before bookings are confirmed. .

Booking Process: Staff Hot-Desks: CJR 101 / CJR103 and PGR Hot-Desks CJR 003

After you make an on-line request for a hot-desk in the relevant space, you will receive an automated email asking you to validate your booking request. You must click the validation link in the email within 1 hour of receipt of the email to validate your booking request or it will be cancelled automatically by the system and you will need to rebook.

Once you have validated your booking request you will receive a system generated confirmation of your hot-desk booking. This also contains the link for you to check-in when you arrive on campus.

If you make an advance booking and find you no longer require it, please cancel the booking to release the desk to other colleagues. Persistent no-shows may be sanctioned, as this is unfair to other colleagues.

In some circumstances it may be necessary for unavoidable operational reasons to move bookings to another desk or to cancel bookings completely. In the unlikely event this is necessary you will receive an automated email confirming the cancellation of your booking and you should re-book for another time.

Meeting Room Booking Process: CJR 004 / CJR 005 / CJR 006

Bookings for the meeting room (CJR004),  seminar room (CJR005) and viva room (CJR006) can be made via LibCal. However, unlike staff and PGR hot-desk bookings, meeting room booking requests are not confirmed automatically. Each booking request will be reviewed by DRC and confirmed where this is deemed to be an appropriate use of the room.
